checking out sites, off season, in and around the northern Bruce Peninsula - areas around the lighthouse are quite scenic.

We used to go there for the weekend trips in the summer when water is not too freezing for swimming (its' always cold even in the summer). It's a truly amazing spot to visit. The parking is very limited but I never found it too...More

Today, this lighthouse is worth over $100,000.00! You will see it if you take a boat exploration to Flower Pot Island. On the way, you will also see shipwrecks, and the beautiful fresh-water tropical-like waters of Georgian Bay. The boat tours are fairly priced, so...More

It’s just a 1 minute walk to the lighthouse. Which is nice, but would have preferred a little more hiking. Once you get there, there’s a few benches to sit but that’s about it. It’s a beautiful location on the water though. Worth making a...More

The lighthouse is close to town, easily accessible and a great place to sit and watch the sunset. Lighthouse is not open for touring.

We took the Blue Heron Glass bottom boat tour around the islands, it cost $40.00 per person for 1 1/2 hours which was spectacular!

Great little spot, water is crystal clear. I would like to come back here to go snorkelling, nice quiet spot to get in an explore in the water without the threat of fast boats.

A five minute drive from Tobermory and worth it. Even though the lighthouse is closed there is a lot of history to read about. There are several benches around the rocky shoreline to take in the view of houses around Big Tub and you get...More
