Cyprus Lake near Tobermory Ontario is a few hours from home, an area I would love to retire to eventually. Hiking and beautiful waters, close to the Grotto and other provincial parks.

Hiking the area was amazing. The views of the lake were breath taking. I have never seen water so clear. Bring plenty of bug spray and we're good shoes. So many people with flip flops. What were they thinking???

Great tips! Bug spray, sunscreen, and proper hiking footwear are very important during a visit at our park. Thank you for your review, Susane.

Loved this walk. Very few people about. Well maintained wood chip pathway along the edge of the lake with lovely vistas.

Grew up near here. City people have ruined the experience. They all think that they are still driving on the 401 up here. They have no respect and they leave garbage everywhere...Stay at your pollution infested beaches in Toronto...sad

Parks Canada does not want the tourists saying they create too much human impact on the land. Many people are turned away.

I believe the parking reservations are for daily visits only. The trail from the camp grounds to the grotto could take as little as 20 minutes or if birding like we were, several hours. Contact Parks Canada to get more... More

There is a Foodland grocery store in Tobermory which is a medium size store and provides a good selection of food items.

Sorry I do not know. Suggest you contact the Bruce park office by email. They usually respond fairly quickly.
