Checked it out over the week and was a great find. Quiet, hardly anyone around, and some pretty rugged terrain. If I was camping there, I'd reckon the stars would be pretty impressive too.

Well'll maintained hikes for any level. There is also other trails with more difficulty. Lots of places to just sit and enjoy. These trails will also lead you to the grotto. There is also camping at this National Park.

There's a lovely little hike around the lake. Camping is also right beside it. There are three campgrounds one right after the other. Facilities are simple, but cover what you need. Nighttime star gazing over the lake is really nice.

The overall experience of the campsite was average. Should install more washrooms, a shower stall is nice to have, and faucets.

Beautiful little lake to hike and camp near. Not sure about swimming..I would rather swim in Georgian Bay. We saw a lot of leaches and water snakes.

They set up an admission schedule (every 4hrs) which seems practical and prevents over crowding the place

We stayed at the Birches and no electricity. Bring your own cooking gears and lights. Not sure about radio free, but we were able to play music in our site using batteries.
