Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely spot, such a lovely beach, don't forget to visit nearby Cat Bay, especially if you are into photography. Sadly (But understandably) you cannot visit this area after dusk due to penguins. Would be an exquisite spot to photograph sunset too.

Flynns Beach is a bit out of the way, it's in the Summerland's area. It's a favoured surf beach. In winter, it has a good break, though it is best used by experienced surfers.. It's a great place to escape the crowds. It's also a good place for beach-combing in winter, you never know what you will find.

Stopped by this beach and took the short sandy stroll to view the spectacular ocean view as part of our brief Phillip island day trip. Worth a look

Flynns Beach has a western aspect, and can get some big waves when the surf is up. Breaks at the north and south of the beach have good surf when the waves are running. It's a steep, narrow beach. There are other beaches on Phillip Island which are more suitable for children, as there is a sudden drop off on the beach. Flynns is good for fishing, partiuclar along the rocks and reefs. There is ample parking, but few facilities.

Just near the Nobbies is Flynn’s beach. A short 200 metre walk through soft sand gets you to the viewing platform. Take the right hand path and it takes you down to the beach. There are clean toilets st the start of the walk.
A magnificent view both ways and a great place for an uncrowned walk.

We stopped here to see the surfers. Coastline reminiscent of Cornwall but on a bigger scale. Can park on cliff top and walk down to the beach.
