Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A fantastic place - huge sandy beach with impressive waves, surfers' paradise. Served a a small friendly cafe overlooking the bay. Perfect place to relax near the sea, surf, walk and watch the birds. Few people, especially compared to Cowes.

lovely swim yesterday 09/02/22. I met a girl while I was in the water and she gave me her boogie board for a few waves. I wish I got your name and number as you were very nice :-) You said you spent some time in QLD last year.

Woolamai Beach is good if you are an experienced swimmer or surfer, the surf can be tricky if you are not. If you are just visting, you are likely to see some aquatic birds, also including shearwaters, more commonly known as mutton birds.

A great beach, easy to get to. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and a great beach to walk and just take it all in.

Woolamai Beach is one of the best surfing beaches on Phillip Island. It's near Cape Woolamai, at the eastern end of the island. Woolamai Beach is not a good beach for inexperienced swwimmers, the surf can be unpredictable.

This is a great beach if you are a surfer, but can be quite windy . so you can get sand blasted. If you are a bird lover (feathered variety) then look for the Hooded Plovers on the beach and the graceful Short Tailed Shearwaters catching the thermals.

Beach was in fantastic condition. Surf was rolling in with great sets. Surf patrol are outstanding as it can be a tricky beach to swim at with some decent sweep. Great views but only swim where the flags are.

We stopped by the surf beach as part of a tour to the penguin parade. It was a really windy day so we were blasted with sand as soon as you stepped out of the bus. Some bits of the walking track was covered by sand dunes. After enduring the blasting it was a bit calmer on the beach.
The beach was quite large and had large crashing waves.
It was a really nice view but did have sand stuck in my hair until showering it out.
