We visited recently, on an excursion from a cruise on the River Loire. It was a mixed group of French and English and we felt that the English lost out rather, as only a fraction of what the local guide said in French actually got...More

The shop is definitely a nice place to be, to purchase and get very good salt, especially Fleur de sel! Lots of salt derivatives also were available for purchase which was great! The tour was quite nice, not going very far in the marais, but...More

I love the "Sel de Guerande" products, they have a wide variety of products at the best prices, so better buy your salt from here than pay double the price elsewhere!

Stopped by and visited Terre De Sel. Took a 45 minute tour and learned all about the process of making salt and why this location is ideal for making salt. Worth your time stopping here.

It was one of our must's on our trip. I have seen similar in south of France. Here I discovered several interesting facts. 1 liter local sea water consists 35 grams of salt, they do not add any additives and they use basically the same...More

These salt harvesting pans are easily seen by foot. We saw the harvesting of the first harvest salt which is sparkling white and the layer underneath which is described as the second harvest and more grey -looking. We were told that the first harvest is...More

I visited this place 2 years ago with my girlfriend. We took a little tour where a guy explained us the process to extract the salt. It was interesting. The store is also good since they have nice products with salt.
