We walk here everyday with our 2 dogs it is a well kept maintained park with a friendly team of Gardner's. There is a play area tennis courts bowling green and lake with ducks on. There is a cafe selling food drink and ice creams....More

Pond needs a bit of TLC. But rest of park is great. Free poo bags near cafe. Shame museum closed now but the little cafe is great. Play area. And for 50p entry to adventure area for kids (not winter )

I have been to this park several to.es over the years and it is a lovely place, despite people abusing it with alcohol and bad behaviour. However on this occasion it was a lovely sunny day and play area full with kids enjoying there playtime....More

nice gardens and cafe open all day every day. worth a visit. especially on a nice sunny day. tennis courts 5 a side football pitch kids play area and hidden walled flower garden.

Nice play area for children, outside gym for those energetic enough, tennis courts, good for dog walking, lovely lake, pleasant grounds, hosts various activities throughout the year, plenty of squirrels, also a cafe to buy ice creams, drinks etc.

Lovely for a walk and plenty for the kids and adults to do including the play area, sand park and outdoor gym. It's a shame the museum has now gone as it was enjoyable and lovely to be able to learn about the local area....More

On a weekend of the weather is good this is a nice place. Lots of walking and play area. I stay away on the weekdays when it is full of school children, and I would not trust my children to be kept safe here if...More

Such a huge park and would need nearly a full day to enjoy all of it. Parking is free, but very limited and can get congested at busy times. A Lovely updated park for the kids of all ages secured safely within a short metal...More

Sorry only just seen this due to hubby being in hospital. Outdoor play area is toddlers, slides, swiping she etc. Open every day.
