Our hike was unexplainable,so amazing. We arranged our trip to sipi over this pandemic period, we booked one of the lodges and we had to get William, one of the best guides in sipi to organise for us the hike and coffee tour experience. Guess what our expectations where beyond and it wasn't our first time to sipi but William made it for us again. I would really love to come back again with my family. I would like to recommend William to anyone going to sipi,he is a reliable guide you would ever want to meet.
Kindly call his cellphone number or WhatsApp on 0778123919. Thank you William.

Mount Elgon with an altitude of 4320m was my goal. I ended up at 3500m and could not hike any further due to accute mountain sickness. Ramadan my guide, the 2 rangers including the cook and the porter took very good care of me. Ramadan is a very good guide, acts in a responsible way and pays attention to any detail, he even took pictures for me during the whole hike. I can highly recommend him, if you want to get in touch with him then do it via whatsapp +256 758 747 809.
Thank you Ramadan sharing this great experience with me!

I would highly recommend a trip to Sipi Falls, its a beautiful part of Uganda and has some really unique scenery.
You definitely need a guide to get around - some of the hiking trails are difficult to access and it would be easy to get lost without. Also, their local knowledge is interesting and enhances the experience.
Our tour guide was Ramazan, who took us on trips over two days to hike the three falls and on a local coffee tour. He was very flexible, always available and made sure that we had a great time. Also, really great value for money.
He can be contacted on whatsapp and by call: +256 758 747809

Hey! I just wanna let you guys know that you will all miss a big chance if you’re going to skip Mt Elgon or the Sipi Falls on your journey! The nature and the landscape are incredible, the atmosphere that surrounds you makes you happy immediately and my guide, Ramazan, brought everything to another level! There is absolutely nothing that I could complain about. I went for the 3 days hike and for me it was a perfect balance between enjoying and feeling my muscles:) Whenever it started getting a bit more taff, either the view or Ramazan made me keep on moving! I was the only client at this time that’s why four people ( guides, cook and porter) joined just because of me.. At the beginning I was feeling really bad because of this, but these guys were such nice people gave me great company, helped me out whenever needed and made me smiling nonstop! Furthermore, they brought a chicken all the way up to the top of the mountain and wanted me having a nice meal after the summit.. shame on me, but my heart was too big for letting a chicken die just because of me.. that’s why we carried it all the way down again and by now it found a new home in Jinja at the orphanage that I was working at.. I was really not an easy going client but still these people acted like angels and accepted my choices instantly.
To sum it up, I can absolutely recommend Ramazan and hiking in the Sipi/Elgon-Area!
Best regards
Fabiola

Our first trip and Hike to Sipi falls and we absolutely couldn't get enough of the amazing views and the cold breeze from the 3rd water fall. As they say Waterfalls are the pirouettes of a river’s dance, I totally would recommend that you reach out Ramadan, he was our guide and made the trip absolutely amazing and worthwhile with all the information and history of the Falls.

Travelled to Sipi for a weekend with no real expectations other than getting out of the city. Our friends directed us to Sam (WhatsApp +256781827693/sipifallstours.com) about possible activities and he listened in to our needs and interests and arranged the most perfect 1,5 days for us. We travelled with 3 kids under 8 and my 70-year old mother with knee issues - still, Sam found away to get us around to experience up front the beauty of the area. Sam himself is just such a pro: ready to share his vast knowledge at the right moment but also happy to leave us to peacefully enjoy the scenery. Always friendly and flexible. Our toddler absolutely adored him!
We went for a sunset walk and ended up up the top of a hill by a picnic table with a cook drink when a thunderstorm came in across the mountains and offered us the most spectacular views. We also did a waterfalls walk and the coffee tour - both highly recommended.
Through Sam and Sipi Falls Tours a door was opened up for us to this beautiful spot on earth where we created memories for life.
Ever grateful for that and can’t recommend Sam enough.

We found Mike through a common friend who recommended him to us. He arranged a pickup with a boda from the main road, negociated a great price with a lodge and then organized a perfect afternoon for us, visiting the three waterfalls, stopping for a local lunch. It was easy to communicate with him and we didn't feel pushed to do anything, we were in sync ! Highlight was swimming in one of the natural pools around fall n°2. Thanks Mike :)

Hi, from memory the road is good all the way from Mbale, however I am not certain that it is tarmac all the way ...... certainly the roads there are better than most other areas because of the food trade that goes on between that region and South Sudan ..... Hope this helps, sorry to be a little vague.
