I’ve been here several times and always find it rather pleasant. It quiet and relaxing. A stroll in the garden on a warm sunny day - perfect. I recommend visiting the Shipwreck Museum if you get a chance.

The Shipwreck Museum contains a really interesting collection of artefacts. There are very informative descriptions on sheets. The whole museum is very well laid out. Very reasonable entrance fee of R50

Lovely museum, filled with artifacts from shipwrecks off the surrounding area's coastline. Great short outing, take the kids.

A terrific collection of memorabilia from the multitude of shipwrecks around the Cape. Felt a wee bit sad when you consider the number of people who lost their lives here.

It is worth the while to visit the shipreck museum in Bredasdorp. Actually it is like walking into another world. We enjoyed the old vehicles in the Barns too. Very reasonable entrance fee! Friendly people, 3 hours spent well!
