One of the best places to watch whales, Southern Right whales, Aug - Nov. Must have seen close to 50 whales in the bay. Plus loads of Bontebok antelope.

Great facility with comfotable, affordable accommodation. The reserve itself has wonderful vistas and is excellent for hiking and bike riding. Stayed here for one night to sample peace and quiet, view fantastic sand dunes, observe wildlife close up and enjoy brilliant food. Shame it was only one night.
