We only had an hour to explore, but I could easily spend all day here hiking and enjoying bird-watching! The walk along the sand dunes looked especially beautiful.

We took the Sterna trail, about a 7km walk. Take some sunscreen and a camera. Beautiful nature, lots of birds and a long walk on the beach. Stunning place if you love the outdoors

There are quite a few options available. It saves the cost of entry and conservation fees to many parks and reserves so is worthwhile if you visit often - best check the SANParks website.
