We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

With signage on the main walking road, this museum is a good chance to learn about premium crystal history and production, with wording in several languages.

If you like looking at lovely glassware in a quiet spot and have a half hour or more to spare, do visit this museum. It's only two floors. When we were there, there was a special exhibition of colourful modern glass sculptures, beautifully placed around the museum. There was a history of glassmaking in Colle Val d'Elsa, and displays of glassware through the centuries. A lot of thought had gone into the design and displays, with interesting cascades of glassware here and there. There was a lovely small 'crystal mirror maze' with atmospheric background music and tinkling glasses.

Loads to see and even feel how the different engravings are made in the glasswork. Didnt realise how big Colle di val dÉlsa was in crystal glass making.

Museum closed like the whole town, on Saturday 9 December at 11.30am.
Pro loco closed where a sign says to go to the info point located in a completely different part of the town in a car park apparently at the bottom of the hill.
Everything closed, everything. Not even a crystal shop. Two small ceramic shops and the desert around, and it was Saturday. All the tourists like us looking at us perplexed.
An hour wasted between going and realizing the hole in the water. Absurd and surreal
