Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square) is located in Colle Alta neighborhood, the old town of Colle di Val d'Elsa, a Renaissance town in Tuscany Region. It is one of the main squares in the old town and obviously here there is the cathedral. It was built in the 16th Century and you can see it, when you walk around the old town. Beautiful square, not more.

You will pass through Piazza del Duomo because it is the open space on the main walkway through the historic old city.

fountain water sounds, good coffee, locals and views. What's not to like? Take a break from other packed squares in Tuscany.

The Piazza del Duomo is the main square of the medieval village of Colle Val d'Elsa. Historic center of political and religious power of the town, this square is overlooked by the praetorian palace, the bishop's palace and other historical noble palaces as well as the co-cathedral of Saints Alberto and Marziale. A square that overall offers few points of interest and the total absence of commercial activities usually makes it not very lively.
