Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

BEACH
the beach is located near the generator and the water treatment plant.
PLASTIC
The beach is filled with plastic bottles and there are numerous pieces of glass lying around. You must be careful not to cut yourself, especially in the evening. Do not walk barefoot.
When the tide is out you can see everything floating.
Walking around under the trees on the beach you discover piles of rubbish buried and hidden under the trees.
Now after years of incivility this beach has also lost its original beauty.
Of course, if we compare it to those of the Mediterranean it is still beautiful but it is not what it used to be. When it was clean and with clear water. Fish numbers have also decreased compared to previous years.

The beach is beautiful, you can take good photos, but the entry into the sea is long and full of stones, it’s difficult to walk even in slippers. There is no point in going at low tide, especially if you are with children. In the evening, at high tide, you can swim to the reef and children can swim near the shore. If you are traveling with children, you can stop by for a couple of days, no more.

What an amazing place. OK you have to swim 50 metres to the reef. We saw large black tip sharks up close (they are no threat, as long as you are sensible), eagle rays and a white Manta one day. Make sure you head to the reef when the tide is higher.

Really small beach, not very clean. You would not come to Rasdhoo for this beach that’s for sure. But, the jewel of Rasdhoo is the sand banks just 5 minutes away by speed boat. Definitely go there instead.

It's The only part of the island somewhat clean. But glass everywhere. Be cautious it's very dangerous. It looks like they only clean part of this island and this is it. Wander off from here and you will find more trash on the shores than any place on earth. If they are looking at boosting tourism here they need to clean up the rest of the island. I won't be coming back until they do so. Terrible absolutely terrible.

The beach is beautiful, the color of the water is very nice. But if you want to see the Maldivian colors, you need to go to a nearby Island.
The beach is not good for swimming, because it's too shallow, and the water is not deep enough. The see is very rocky, too.

Bikini beach is seriously overrated. We got to know about bikini beach and thought that this was one thing we should experience.

This place is in Maafushi and is marked as excellent. Turns out that this place is not worth it at all. It’s a tiny beach which is walled on all 3 sides by a tiny wooden picket. The beach is about 50 meters long and there’ll be about 50 people there hoping to see women in a bikini.

You’ll see a butt load of Indian families walking there with children as well. You can hang around here but bikini photography, you’ll have to come early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

The best place where one can relax in a bikini is in any of the activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, one-day resort visit and whale shark diving. The other places would be if you are staying in a resort or in a resort island.

From the shore at bikini beach we saw dolphins and turtles. Whilst snorkelling we saw sting rays, reef sharks, octopuses and a lot of tropical fish. We really enjoyed our time here, mainly because it was easy to relax (compared to Thoddoo). Hard to swim at low tide though. The beach is quite long with lots of places to sit away from people. Not much shade though, we borrowed an umbrella from the guesthouse. There was not much litter on bikini beach, but if you kept walking around there is plenty :( Hope the locals can improve on this. (Although it was no where near the same amount of littler as on Thoddoo island)

It is small and somehow cosy peace of beach, the only place in the island where women are allowed to wear bikini.
One part of the beach is part of the hotel and sport centre, but everybody can come there and use the deckchairs for free. The hotel kitchen also offers the lunch and dinner menu which are changing frequently. You can also buy here the hot and cold drinks .... simply this is the place where the sun and swimming / snorkelling in the clear water can be really enjoyed !

If you looking for some special white sand beach - it is not here.
Rasdhoo bikini beach is small and not so chic.
Here is good reef, good snorkling, and good diving in Rasdhoo.
if you looking for great view beach - better going to Picknik island and sandband island very close to Rasdhoo (30 $ for full day trip from Rasdhoo).
