A very plain and boring place with not much to see or do. If it is by any chance (read usually) a part of your one day Sohra itinerary, my advise would be to skip it and spend that time elsewhere.

The park has not been well maintained. The shrubs are all dry. There is more plain land than trees. There is play equipment for kids :)

The name Eco park looks out of sync. It is a small park on a cliff with a fall flowing down. The pathways are maintained and it is green all over. The view of the valley is pretty good.

This is a large Park under development and should prove to be a good attraction! There is considerable amount of walking to be done and we could see that the water for one of the Falls of Seven Sisters flows through that park. Facilities for children to play have been created and we could see a number of school enjoying... More

Our visit to the Eco Park in Cherrapunjee was not that great. There was not much greenery to see inside the park as there had been no rainfall in the recent past. After parking the car, we walked a long way and a flight of stairs to reach the father end of the park, which had a breathtaking viewpoint of... More

A large "Eco Park" established by the Meghalaya government in the plateau, which hosts several hybrid and indigenous orchids in the Green House donated by Shillong Agri-Horticultural Society. Also the Eco Park offers breathtaking view of distant Sylhet Plains of neighbouring Bangladesh. Its Location: East Khasi Hills District, Sohra

Must visit. And spend some time there. Read a book or just sit and listen to the sound of the breeze. The water flows during the rains but it was dry now. And yet it felt very peaceful.

I went in Feb... winter... but because of no rain there was no water here. it was a completely arid and dry place. all the grass were yellow and the stones brown where the water was supposed to be running. there was no water in seven sister falls so we could see nothing. no doubt it had some decent views...
