Great 4.2 km hike on a well-maintained trail with gorgeous panoramas looking out to the Atlantic. In berry season (we were there at the end of September), sweet blueberries are plentiful! The trail is reasonably easy, with some minor ups and downs. Allow enough time...More

We stated from a small parking lot before the Wireless interpretation centre. Even the rain could not stop us. With our umbrellas, we did the whole trail which features many short climbs, views of coves, the ocean, sights of former settlements. The terrain changes continually,...More

This is a must do on Fogo. What amazing views on a very well maintained trail. Lots of blueberries along the trail. Takes about an hour and a half to do. I would consider it a moderate trail but achieveable by anyone who takes their...More

If you go counterclockwise you will do the inland portion first and loop back along the shore. I wish we’d had time to do more of the side trails. VERY well maintained and signposted.

This hike is beautiful. It takes about 1 hour or so to do at a moderate pace. There are various off the track lookouts you can do which give you a great view of the ocean and the town of fogo. Beautiful!

We started this path in the evening so to avoid hiking in darkness we opted not to do any of the small side paths to the wooden look off platforms. The view is excellent from the trail, we completed the loop in one hour. Some...More
