While on holiday at the king jason(fig tree bay)in June,my husband and I strolled into the town most evenings, popped into quite a few bars for the odd cocktail,it’s so friendly and welcoming, there also many restaurants and shops.

An absolute paradise. I was lucky to be in a hotel right on the promenade and beach and I really can’t think of a better place. Heaven on earth.

the beach there was excellent, hire the sunbeds and brolly 7.50 euros for the day just leave your towels on them if away the attendant puts the brolly down at 5pm but you can stay as long as you want well worth the little treck

We stayed on the promenade and went for daily walks and runs. The promenade stretches all the way from Protaras Fig Tree Bay to Penera and have lovely restaurants and bars all the way. Also gives excess to all the watersports and beaches.

We have booked to stay in Protaras for three weeks and are regretting it after just three days. The beach front is just one enormous building site. We have lost count of the number of hotels that are under construction or being redeveloped. There are...More
