The highest waterfall in the state and the 13th highest in the country, the Vantawng Waterfalls is one of he most mesmerizing waterfalls of the North East. Vantawng falls are the pride of Mizoram and one of its prime attractions. The waterfall which is located 137 km away from the capital city of Aizawl is a gem in its own... More

They say you see places only you are destined to see. Alas, I was not destined to see the place, not at least in my first visit to north east. We travelled more than half to the falls when weather got bad and as the local people suggested, abandoned our plan. However, half journey was memorable in itself. We ate... More

Brilliant site. You can view it from the road itself on opposite hill. Entire area is lush green. The entire Mizoram state is unique with lovely traffic sense.

Really great view, best seen during the later half of the moonson, but then the place is wet and bushy. About 90 kms from aizawl, the ride is scenic along winding roads thought hmuifang hills and the valley of Thenzawl. A couple of kilometres from the main road, you could walk or ride. Come, see, enjoy the view.

We visited this falls during November and as expected, this was not a great sight. If you are in Aizawl and want to see places around, this is a good day trip as you can get to see the terrain, nice little villages, shops etc..on your way to water falls. The place itself is rugged and has a great view... More

its the tallest or highest fall in mizoram..the name literally means the fall that reached the sky. My visit was during the rainy season and this makes it more enjoying and really feel the beauty of the fall
