My family love coming here all year around. In the winter months it's much more quieter but it is beautiful place all year round! Kids love the park and especially the activities if they are open but this is mostly in the summer months including the maze 😊 I would also recommend keeping an eye open for events between wildlife... Brought along my new DSLR camera, managed a few shots of ballygally head. Done a good 3 mile or more. Not bad for time of year. Most of the other visiting walkers were friendly. Good for children, dog lovers and even mountain bikers!

Our rambling group had chosen to walk here for our final walk of the year. It was a dry and mild day. A bit bleak, which is to be expected in mid winter, but we were still able to enjoy the nice view across the sea ( please see photos ). We did not meet a lot of other people... More

Heard good reports about the restaurant so thought we would give it a try, we weren't disappointed. I am a steak man so could not go past this on the menu. We each ordered the Rid-Eye with all the trimmings I had pepper sauce on top. The steak was cooked to perfection in fact it was the best steak I... More

Came to here as part of a longer walk - the were preparing the park for a special Halloween event that evening but the cafe still did us proud if a bit slow in terms of service. Had been to the park a few years ago and a lot of new walks around the park. The walled garden with its... More

There's an excellent free play area, along with other pay activities such as train rides and bouncy castles for the kids. A very well maintained walled garden with lots for sun dials for those of you who wish to relax in peaceful surroundings. There's also a hedge maze and some rather challenging walks for the more active. Overall a good... More
