We loved this place so much!! We had beginners lessons from Laurens who was a really nice guy. He was super easygoing and had a lot of patience. We felt really save! They have this nice roof terrace where you can chill out and enjoy the view of the kiters. They have a lot of people arround who will help you with, whatever you need. I would definitly recommend this place, we felt part of the station after a few hours already. Really nice for beginners and for the pro’s. Thank you so much!!

Amazing spot with super friendly people. Everybody is super helpful. Special wishes to Savvas best rescue and good adviser, Justas, Mantas, Veronika, Sandra for all help. Unfortunately I don’t remember all names but I’m very grateful to all people, who helped me repairing my kite. After half an hour I been already back on the water:)
I recommend this place to everyone who want to have fun and good time:)

Currently here for 2 weeks and each time I visit the Center has been fully accommodating to my needs. Beginner classes start upwind from the Center so less stressful. I used storage and rescue as well as a refresher lesson.

I've been here for a kite-surf beginners course.
Three days later I already really miss the amazing community, my instructor, the atmosphere, the really good equipment and the progress I could feel from lesson to lesson.
Greetings to Elmira and Egle

This place is located in a kite surfing natural paradise: The water is clear, warm (no need for wetsuits), the wind is quite stable and is surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Therefore it was the main reason to book our holidays and our hotel close to it. We were planning to do an intermediate and advanced course followed by a week of gear rental, kiting and having fun around the center.Right after our arrival we went to confirm our lessons. So far all great!
As planned, next day we arrived to the center and I got appointed to an instructor. Just a remark about my level: I am learning how to stay upwind, cannot yet guarantee that I won't drift downwind too much.
The staff consists of 8 instructors, with a good language mix: from Bulgarian, Russian, Greek, English and more to choose from! After a while, you realize that most people hanging/sitting around the kite center are actually part of the staff.
As for the lesson: As expected, I received all the gear and was instructed to carry it to a truck and to sit behind with my gear (together with more students). Since the kite center is in between a restaurant and a swimming area, unless you are very good in staying upwind, you can't really kite on your own in front of the center. So the truck takes you 500 meters upwind to a tiny beach where you assemble your gear. During gear assembly, the instructor bragged about how expensive the gear was, how she would not be able to keep an eye on me all the time, and like 10 minutes telling that the rescue service is not a taxi. Nothing about what I was about to do on the lesson, or what should I focus on.
The kites are always launched by the instructors, since the beach is too small and they don't want to risk students having accidents on the rocks or the adjacent restaurants. They put the kite on you and tell you to go practice on your own while they watch you. In practice, they can see you for a couple of minutes only and then you are on our own until you reach the kite center. which depending on your skills takes between 15 and 45m. So I spent around 30m kiting back and forth and to my mistake I was not close enough to the center to land the kite, which meant I unfortunately drifted a bit too far and would need to be rescued... I was around 100-200m from shore and after 15-20minutes waving, one of the many instructors on the center noticed me and arrived with a jet-ski: I found out the hard way that they rescue the kite, not yourself (!), so he took the kite and told me to swim to shore (?!). Having finally arrived back to the center (all this during lesson time), I went to search for my instructor, nowhere to be found, and non of the other staff members knew where she was. When finally I found her back, I received the 30 second feedback out of a 3h "lesson", literally: "your position is very bad, you have a poo stance, extend your front leg more" - Nothing new for me, that's why I took lessons in the first place to correct for it and something even an inexperienced observer could tell me - not really worth 120 euros!
Between each round, you deflate the kite and again take it on the truck where you wait for a staff member to drive you there. Again you pump the kite and setup the lines (since I was rescued, the lines were tangled and I kept on hearing from the instructor that next time I would be untangling it myself and how careful I should be to return to the kite center instead of drifting - Like if I did it on purpose!) Wasted time which could have been used to discuss my improvement points instead of discussing how busy I keep the staff. On this second round the wind went down so I basically body dragged from the launching beach to the kite-center.
Given the very disappointing lesson experience, I went to ask if there was a possibility to practice on my own, where I was informed that it would need to be a special arrangement but was in principle possible. However, since the place is crowded with instructors hanging around, I started hearing 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinions telling me how busy the instructors are, that they won't have time to launch my kite, that if I had asked to x, y or z they would have said no.. but still talk to z, maybe he will allow you, etc, etc... so not a nice, welcoming or professional atmosphere to learn something together with them. Also, having asked if there is no possibility to kite on my own around their center, where else on the island could actually kite on my own - I was informed that only on the other tip of the island (around 80-100Kms away - prohibitive distance), and how expensive the rescues would be there (maybe they actually take you also, not only the kite :)). Fortunately, it takes a few seconds to find another kite school close by, with a much more professional attitude.
With all this, we decided to cancel any commitments with them, definitely not risking to have my partner do the course there.
Concluding:
- The place is in a fantastic kiting location, with great natural conditions
- Unless you are comfortable staying upwind, the only way to practice kiting there is through a 120E lesson.
- On the lessons you are left on your own, and have max 2, 3 feedback moments
- The instructor cannot see you at all time
- The rescue service rescues the kite and tells you to swim back yourself
- Overcrowded with staff
- Inconsistent policies
- Feels like instructors are doing you a favor and that you are there bothering them
- Didn't get one single smile in return from the instructor (? :) )

Great welcome, great gear selection but a huge loss was that the instructor didn't bother to show any of the skills necessary. Rude. I decided to leave after he spoke to me like an incompetent... After not bothering to demonstrate or elaborate. Ended up leaving during the lesson. Not recommended.

Dear Khalil ,
We regret to hear that you where not pleased with the instructor! We wish you had informed us through our administration office or station managers as we always use our clients feedback and take it seriously to correct and change things to everyones satisfaction.
We would be more than happy to offer another try with a different instructor on your next visit.
We sincerely hope you enjoyed the rest of your holidays!

This kite center is great for renting equipment, storing your equipment, as well as getting instructors. However, it may not be ideal for beginner kiters as the launch area is rocky and narrow and it gets deep very quickly. It was ideal for intermediate to advanced riders and the wind was strong for most of the days in July. Agla helped me with my gear, launching, and landing and she always gave me the right gear for my level, although all the staff was extremely helpful. There is a restaurant next door that serves many wonderful Greek dishes.
