Great Aquarium, where you really can get deep into the science and life beneath the sea. The showpiece is the big tank with the huge shoals of fish, but the smaller exibits are really great, and it's good that the museum sticks to the local life and shows most of the biotopes one can find in the North sea. Recomended... More

This is a great place for your small ones to run around and play. There are big fishtanks for them to look at and also other things to learn about the marina. In the summer there is an outside playground for the kids to play in. If you're in this part of Denmark and your kids are bored or if... More

The Nordsoen Oceanarium is very informative and a stay there is super entertaining. Especially the feedings of the seals and the fishes in the big Aquarium were exciting. But also the exhibition about whales was very interesting and particularly the skeleton of the fin whale was impressive! I absolutely recommend to visit this awesome Aquarium in the north of Denmark!

This aquarium was a great place to visit. We ended up staying for about 4 hours. All displays and interactive activities in Danish, German and English. The definite stars were the seals and the sunfish in the massive tank with other North Sea life. Ended up going back to both of these a few times to see again. The feeding... More

The big aquarium in the middle is very impressive! Good place for a rainy day for all ages and to learn something. Local waters are more interesting than you think.

I just love this place. The central tank is breathtaking with schools of mackerel circling, huge sunfish dropping by and many many other stunning fish. The tank with cod is also fascinating as are the seals and the.... There are fish you can touch, crabs to be caught, talks by marine biologists and, not to miss, feeding sessions. I have... More

Our visit was planed using their website. But they had a different schedule when we came, meaning that we missed the feeding in the big aquarium, and a lot of other things was not available. So nice place, but their website can't be trusted. Apparently the problem was a change in high season to low season, no mention on the... More
