Get out and do some hiking in Sovana. It's amazing to seeing these ancient roadways that the etruscan's used. Definately worth a visit.

Walk in the steps of the ancients in these roads cut into the rock, wonder at the ancient workmanship and be surprised by the many intriguing cavities opening up on side of the surrounding hills. A must do if you pass by here.

These are ancient pathways of the Etrucans carved from the tufa so common to the area. The mystery and sheer beauty of these sunken pathways link your modern footsteps to those who went before so long ago.

There are several vie cave taking off from Sovana. Do not miss the opportunity to walk them. Keep your eye out for carvings and shrines along the route. Do not be surprised if you discover you are the only one visiting them
