Not a Campground but a beautiful place for a day trip. With the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Grand Codroy River on the other separated by a beautiful white Sandy beach.

We stumbled upon this gorgeous sandy beach while traipsing around the Codroy Valley. A hidden gem. The sand dunes are also a nesting ground for piping plovers so a good spot for bird watchers.

Pros: Nice free provincial park with a sandy beach. It has good ocean access and nice views of the Atlantic and the surrounding shoreline. There were many birds around, various kinds of gulls and other shorebirds, including Killdeer. Cons: Tiny. Drove right past it and...More

Visiting family nearby this park and asked if we could use one of the sites to have a campfire and roast some marshmallows and weinies. They not only let us use a site, but provided the firewood and told us about lots of nearby adventures....More

Birders can see lots of warblers, but the waterfowl and shorebirds must only come during migration time.
