Fortunately, our GPS was able to find the address. No signposts were seen. The place itself is small. However, the volunteers are enthusiastic. The banding process is very interesting. Well worth the stop.

Fascinating! For the first time I observed bird banding and was able to see various birds up close. Plenty of informative plaques along the short trails, as well as the staff always willing to answer questions.

Our Red Hat group was there walked along the nets where they catch the birds to tag. Then we watched the tagging, weighing and releasing of the birds. Great experience. There were students from 4 or 5 other countries assisting and studying.
