we keep coming back every year and hope to come back next tripe we know everyone in the area nice to walk in the sun or relax after a long night out in the club i would recommend it to anyone Maxwell Beach my FAV.

no swimming badley polluted with seaweed both sea beach no blue & green sea just a murky brown & foul smelling seaweed on every beach along the south coast

Truly great hideaway beach for families, couples or small groups. small but very clean beach. Access is through a gated pathway alongside Sheringham Beach Apts. or by the right of way East of Butterfly beach Hotel.

The week we stayed at Bougainvillea Resort, the beach was posted with Red flags because the waters were so rough and there was a ton of seaweed. So unfortunately we were not able to go into the water.

When there is an off shore breeze there is a slight sewage smell. Very private beach no amenities. Watch out for the tides, we were sun bathing and got complacent, big wave came in and soaked us all.

There are a few rocky spots that you have to leave to walk around before you can get back to the sand. Walking along the powdery sand from Maxwell Beach to Oistens was very relaxing.

What can I say stunning. Water wad a bit rough when we were there if you catch the tide at the right time of stay you can walk from oistins right down to the sandals resort in Dover

Hi No markets nearby but there is a good supermarket in oistins 2miles away were you can get fresh fruit &veg plus all normal grocery that you nead for self catering at local prices hope this helps. Ivan
