    Waterfall with great views
This has nice view of waterfall. It is approx 224 steps to go up. You cannot go with small kids. But will surely enjoy. Can have small snacks if you are tired on the way. There is horse riding, photographic spots. Good exercise. Not advised for heart patients or parents with very small kids

    Wonders of Waterfalls
It is a series of very beautiful waterfalls. You can see 3 stages as steps are build. After that you need to ride mountain which is not easy for normal tourist. No entry fee. Each stage is having some restaurants. Place is near Gabala.

    7-tier Waterfalls
I visited this waterfall with a tour company. When we got to this waterfall by the time I was at the first and 2nd waterfall I wasn't impressed. So I was not interested in putting more energy into hiking to the others. The tracks leading to these water falls were not easy to climb. They were narrow tracks and a bit too strenuous. Also from what I saw with the first two waterfalls I did want to see the other 5 and i could have seen that the tour guide was clearly not too interested in going to them all. For such a long journey from Baku I was not impressed.

Today me and my family was at the restaurant in this waterfall complex. Everything was good but we get the bill I was shocked. They tried to scam us. According to the menu of this restaurant total price of our food was apx. 70 azn, but they bring us a bill with 100 azn. Terrible. But the food was good.

This is a set of 7 waterfalls on 7 different heights. But to reach to the 7th Top most you need real strong legs. We couldn't do more than 2 and just seeing the steep height to climb, we quit. This is more or less very similar to waterfalls we see in India very frequently. Yes if you manage to reach to the top you get some nice background for pictures.
At the base you have small shops selling spices, wild berries, tea, coffee, sweet corn and boiled chestnuts etc.
Like I said if you can Hike ... Then you will Like

The waterfall area is beautiful but it's only one of the great places to visit while in Gabala. I used a local tour agency called Travel2Baku to get there. They arranged a really great tour of the Gabala area - Waterfalls, cable car ride to the top of Caucasus mountains, showed all the surrounding area. It was fun getting everywhere on their 4x4. They suggest also picnic with fresh lam and other local dishes.
It was the second tour I ordered with Travel2Baku. The first one was to Gobustan area. It was so fun getting with them to Gobustan that when they told me that they have office in Gabala in addition to their Baku office - I wanted to see what is it about.
The air is fresh and the nature is marvelous. Amir speaks English and Russian fluently and has a lot of knowledge.
I enjoyed it so much that I took another tour with them to Shaki, which is in 1 hour drive from Gabala. Many people visit Shaki, but they miss Gabala. My visit to Gabala was really great, especially thanks to the great team of Travel2Baku.
** If you are not in good physical shape - you won't be able to get to the top of the waterfall. Yet, you can get to the bottom with their jeep, step up a little bit, sit there, slip some tea and enjoy the nature.

Called the seven beauties waterfall. It is seven step waterfall. Firstly the way to there is unpaved and through village where you enjoy seeing local cultures and lifestyles. Reaching at the waterfall you will find locals selling fruits fresh and smell delicious. Its high elevation climbing but worth it and risky.

Since I was driving .. the ride was extremely bumpy with no paved roads. When you reach there most people will sit at the cafe and see a very small waterfall. If you are physically active you will be able to go to the next part with an unstable handrail and slippery stepping stones and you will most likely stop and end here where most of us stopped.

It was a short hike to the falls, spectacular view but unfortunately one restaurant set up at the top was occupying a platform with tables spread all over.. they were not allowing anyone to go close to falls without paying 10 manat! This is outrageous..
Must stop such encroachment at such site seeing..
