This is well worth a visit... it is hilly to get there but it's worth the effort. There is a lovely square with stunning views and lots of places to have a meal or just a drink

Take our time getting here and stop in at the various art and craft shops on the way. There are also plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to keep you going by do make time to visit the beautiful blue domed church and it's small...More

If you visit Altea you won't miss the two shiny blue domed roofs of this beautiful church. If you have time, park your car down below and meandour up hill towards the church. It draws you in like a magnet and is a beautiful structure....More

This is really worth a visit and the walk there is well worth the effort.there are lots of little restaurants nearby for refreshment and it is a brilliant spot for some photoes

You can take your time getting there as you will be able to stop by the little boutiques along the climb. You can enjoy the view from the top. The Church is beautiful with the domes being blue and white tiles

Yes you can get a taxi to it. There is a small taxi rank quite close(just before) the 222 steps up the hill, which makes the worthwhile trip to the church with all the restaurants really easy on your legs.
When is the church open, I have visitors staying with me this weekend and would love to go inside?
