Sensational views of other rock faces as you climb through the beautiful forest and breathtaking sights from the viewing platforms as you look down over the pillars themselves.

Although some distance from Yakutsk, well and truly worth making the trip. We got the opportunity to stop on the Lena many times and saw rock drawings some 3,000 to 10,000 years old. The UNESCO site and the climb up the pillars well worth it.

I would like to add my endorsement of this place. I visited in 2002, and the boat trip was stunning and fun (filled with cheerful locals from Yakutsk when I went). The trails in the park are safe as long as you stick to them....More

A World Heritage since 2012. The only way to get there is by joining a cruise. The cruise itself is very much recommended.

Just take it slow. Some of the sections are quite long but there are benches where you can sit on to rest a bit.
