There are many historic buildings in Macau, especially Senado Square. Walking from the Senado Square towards St Paul Church, you will see many of the building with Western and Chinese influence. Such as Civic & Municipal Affairs Bureau, Macau Government Tourist Office, Mercy Church Meseum,...More

Even if it was a bit crowdy, this visit was very intersting and the mix Of the two cultures is rather disturbing when you think where you are situated!

Walking around Historic Center Macau is worth your time. Guide maps are available Online and brochures at visitor centers. Trip advisor lists great Portuguese restaurants that are as good as those in Portugal.

Coming from Europe we probably expected too much from this Unesco World Heritage site. There are very few old buildings and most of them need urgent refurbishment.

Nice square with markets surrounding. I wouldn't rave about it and I can't say its a must see. Some history behind it with the Portuguese.

As I also noted in another review for Senado Square - the historic centre of Macau is fascinating and simply walking around the streets can easily fill our half a day or even more. Lots of great, unique things to eat and do. I would...More

This location looks like a bit of Portugal and has been restored. Worth a visit to discover some of the history of Macau, especially at night. Lots of shops and good restaurants in the side streets.

Apart fron the Casino cricuit, there is nothing much to see here. Senado square, and ruins of the cathedral hold some interest. walking is the best option. taxis are quite hard to get by in the rush hours.

Hi, The sites of the Central Macau are cobble stoned so may not be practical. It is flat for some of the way then there is a steep hill to the Church ruins. Plus it is very crowded. I would not recommend the visit
