Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Like many of its counterparts, Grand Lisboa is truly grand, huge and clean! The place is easily accessible by the many networks of free shuttle bus services.
However, in terms of wow factor, it is definitely a shadow of Wynn Palace, for instance.
Nonetheless, good hotel.

(PS: This is where you queue to get onto the buses to go into China).
Long queues on Weekends, so beware!!! Queues can take up to 3hr.

The Grand Lisbon hotel-casino is one of Macau's hallmarks. Visible from almost everywhere in the city with its modern and unique architecture. The lobby is impressive and the game room is gigantic .I didn't visit the rooms , so I cant say nothing about it.

It’s a nice casino, I don’t gamble so I can’t really comment on the gaming experience but I love this one because of the architecture, interior and the displays. The gold displays, the ivory displays, ohhh much art for my heart ❤️. The details of how each one was made it was really amazing. Plus plus I love the lotus fountain in the lobby and the chandelier. It’s a must visit when going to Macau.

There are several floors that include machines and tables. The payout was so poor that it was simply not worth trying the machines. The bets at the tables are quite high. We did see some exotic dancers :) Right in front of them is a paying bar, but hardly anyone there. It is worth stopping by, but don't expect too much. As mentioned in the title, they do not serve free alcoholic drinks. You can get soft drinks, water, coffee and/or tea but the waiters are not very prompt. We met a nice waitress from Indonesia who noticed that I was cold, so she got me some tea. All around Macau, smoking in closed public places is forbidden, so this was a big plus. However, if you are a smoker, you will find smoking areas in the casino, or you can step outside.

Went there mainly to have lunch. They have friendly staff and a good affordable menu in one of the restaurants (RTC - noodle and congee). Just be cautious if you are ordering the spicy stuff - the item i ordered was **really** spicy, so much so that i had to buy antacids for relief.

Grand Lisboa Casino is a stunning architectural building that is ideally located at the heart of the historic city.
Anyone should step inside just to have a look at the great arts and national treasures from Mr Stanley HO personal collection that are displayed inside (and for free). It gives another insight at Macao's history. And from there many other famous landmarks and eateries are within a quick walk.

We stopped by the Grand Lisboa Casino during our whirlwind 36hours in Macau. Our Macanese host who was giving us a guided tour around new and old Macau said we should check out the Grand Lisboa as it is iconic to the area so we did! The outside is crazy with millions of lights and a strange structure, you aren't quite sure what you are looking at but it is impressive. It gives you the feeling that you are in the 1970's or something like that.

We went inside for a little while and it was very impressive inside with the artwork and carvings and the gaming floor was great to watch too. It was a thursday night but the place was packed! We gambled a bit before heading out to other things in Macau but were very impressed with the Grand Lisboa overall. Next time we are in Macau we may choose to stay there or at least take a half day to explore it.

It was also a bit neat getting our picture taken across the street with the Grand Lisboa in the background and knowing that Rowan Atkinson had stood in the same spot for a scene in the film Johnny English 2 :)

Of course your kids are not allowed to get into the casino, but definitely grand lisboa lobby was like an art museum, and my kids enjoy the exhibition so much. Such as ancient giok, gold and others artworks there

A very enchanting casino. The ambience is lovely. The slots and game area are very well managed. yes, I did play a slot for sake of fun, and to my surprise, I won a few currency ....its great experience. You have shuttle buses vrom the harbour to the hotel and back. If you are in Macau, dont miss visitin the Grand Lisboa Casino.
