Pleasant outdoor garden

Mostly tiled with a small playground. Not much in terms of vegetation. We came across or because of its proximity to our hotel. Not worth a special trip

We came down from Guia Hill and walked along the street. We stopped by in front of Hotel Royal for a break. Jardim de Vasco da Gama was similar to Flora Garden. Only I found this place much smaller and there was nothing much. Next to Jardim de Vasco da Gama, I think I saw some kind of museum or... More

We stopped off on our way to Guia Fortress after reading about the garden on TripAdvisor. A little gem of colour and well worth a visit.

Dedicated to the famous Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama, this is a small garden in Macau located close to the Guia fortress. The garden is located below street level and has a bust of the famous explorer surrounded by a three tiered fountain at its center. The garden is has beautiful and colorful floral and grass pattern which are a... More

Credit the Portuguese for planning numerous squares, gardens and parks in Macau, somethign you simply don't see much of in this part of the world. Jardim de Vasco da Gama is one of these parks, one of a handful in this area of the city. Named after the Portuguese navigator and explorer, it is a small, square shaped square just... More

We passed through the small garden on the way to the fort & that is really the only reason to be here - a shortcut. It has plenty of seating & a big sport complex but the garden holds little of interest.

The garden, a square, is right in front of the Royal Hotel and located next to a relatively steep slope leading to the Pine Flower Hill. Many older folks come here to chat but there is also a playground for children. A good place to spend half and hour or so to look around and sample the local scene. There... More

It located in front of our hotel. We saw it from our rooms. I think it's a nice garden but that's all. I should say it's like a small public garden.

I was staying in the hotel just across the street from the Park, the 13th floor with a good view of the "Jardim de Vasco da Gama", so I could admire it very well from the top. All in all it is nothing special that is a square dedicated to the Portuguese navigator, a quiet place free access at any... More

The bright and wonderful garden designed befitting a known figure that is Vasco de Gama, was the wonderful sight that always greeted us in the morning upon waking up from our hotel window just across the Jardin. We stayed at Royal Macau Hotel and the Jardin was just a short walk across the street from the hotel. The mornings, you'd... More
