About
Underneath a blue-sky ceiling, Macau's largest indoor mall has a variety of brands, from luxury goods to fast fashion. An artificial canal and Venetian Gothic architecture add to the charm.

This was the first of the four major Shoppes venues on the Cotai Strip and is the largest. The Grand Canal Shoppes are also connected to the other Shoppes at Four Seasons, Parisian and Londoner by way of corridors and covered footbridge providing many hours of indoor shopping along the Strip.

At the Grand Canal you will find a nice blend of luxury and mid-range retails along with food shops, restaurants, food court and entertainment like the Qube Kids Play Zone, Grand Canal with opportunity for gondola rides all while enjoying the Venetian theme and decor incorporating various Venice landmarks. It is a fun location to spend time even if you are not planning on doing much shopping.

Interestingly, with numerous major casino & hotel mall openings over the years, the Venetian has become less crowded compared to the early days when it was one of the first and only properties on the Cotai Strip. For a while it was shoulder-to-shoulder crowds throughout in the Grand Canals area, particularly on weekends. Those days seem to be past with crowds spreading out to other properties, meaning it is much easier and comfortable walking around the Grand Canals. During midweek visits, it is not bad at all anymore.

Identical to the Canal shops in Las Vegas but much bigger. Beautifully designed with the canals and the houses. What we liked even better: Spectacular light show on the facade of the hotel at night. Be sure to check it out!

This was the first of four Shoppes complexes to go up along the Cotai Strip and remains the most interesting, being set amongst indoor Venetian like canals as well as replica landmarks from the city of Venice.

There are hundreds of retail shops in the Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian Macao as well as access to the three other Shoppes venues by connecting corridors to Four Seasons, Sands Cotai Central and Parisian for those who want to extend their shopping and dining experiences within the Shoppes.

Note: For the past decade, the Shoppes at Grand Canal has been one of the single busiest locations in Macau. visitors pack the floors and shops here, creating very crowded conditions most days throughout the year.

However, at present it is a ghost town due to the Coronavirus Outbreak. Presently, if you pass by the Shoppes, you'll find only a handful of shops open, perhaps less than 10%. Related, there are no tourists at the moment as well, meaning at times, you'll have entire canal areas to yourself. This will likely remain the case until the Macau government loosens restrictions on the border for mainland tourists to come back.

Located inside the Venetian. One of Macau's most popular tourist destinations due to its iconic artificial sky and the replica of Venice's Grand Canal. There are lots of different shops, ranging from designer brands to some of the budget-friendly brands. There are restaurants for fancy dining and a food hall section for the general public. A few-minute gondola boat ride is available for a fee.

Accessible to public transportation. Free shuttle buses are also available from the airport, HZMB bus port, ferry terminal, and Mainland China border gate.

I love the Grand Canal Shoppes in Vegas. I love the polished floor, the Venetian Gothic style & colourful buildings, the boutique shops, the artificial blue sky ceiling, canals and gondolas...etc. So I was pleased when I discovered that this Grand Canal Shoppes is just the same as Vegas'. The only differences here are with different shops and people, plus the missing of the peaceful St. Mark's Square, as they actually use it for a noisy and less classy food court instead.
I always love Venice and even this is only a replica Venice, I still love it. It's just a shame that they wasted the St. Mark's Square and turned it into a cheap and noisy food court instead. Otherwise, it'd deserved a good 5 stars!

Makes me feel like standing in the middle of Venice, Italy! I love seeing things & truly admire the architecture & how they make the whole environment alike Venice.

Unlike most malls, The Shoppes at Four Seasons is almost purely about exclusive luxury shopping so not much in the form of dining available.

A good experience to enjoy the romance and grandeur of Shoppes at Venetian where guests are entertained by serenading gondoliers and enjoy performances by signature Streetmosphere performers with colorful antics of jugglers, living statues, musicians as they wander around the colorful Venetian streetscapes.

The place basically covered everything from luxury to mid-range shopping with a bit of in-door canal theme. The only annoying part is restriction of movements from one end to another with kids since the Casino takes up a huge grounds that hinders parents with kids to roam with ease.

This is the second time I visited the Grand Canal Shoppes. The first time was over ten years ago, and it was a lot more impressive then. If you're a shopper, you'll enjoy this place as it is full of shops and even more shops. There is a good variety of shops here as well, and if you want to look for something on the more upscale stage, that is close by as well.

I suppose when I first visited over 10 years ago, I was really impressed by the food court and couldn't wait to go back. This time, I found the food court to be messy and hectic. Beware of the sanitation issues at Fat Burger. When I was ordering, the employees were handing the burgers and toppings with their bare hands!

There're many shops on various categories.
It's heaven for shopper and for buying souvenir.
Even I'm not a shopper, i still enjoyed walking around this place because of their beautiful interior.
Sometimes there're live music too.
When i went there, there're a quintet. (or maybe sixtet, not sure.)

There're also food center in not so expensive price along with expensive restaurants to choose depend on your budget.

I've been to something like this in Japan, Odaiba.
And i'd say this place is much better, more beautiful.
