Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As I walked into the Church, I took in the statue of Christ. The artist who designed the statue was incredibly talented (apparently completed relative recently in the 20th century). I haven't had a religious experience in years but in that moment I definitely felt something (don't ask me what). I proceeded to go to into another room where there were paintings. I was struck with the beauty of the paintings and decided to take a picture (without flash). Then this incredibly rude man said: "por favor no picture" (no pictures please). The religious experience was over. I explained to him that I thought that the no picture policy only extended to "pictures without flash". He rudely mocked me and said "its in the door". It wasn't. Sir: you don't have to ridicule people. The great time that I was having stopped; religious experience gone. All because of this guy, that doesn't know the true meaning of religion. I then remembered why I stopped being catholics. Its because of people like this guy, that distort what were probably some good teachings in the beggining, and turned those good teachings into crap. Thank you guy, for ruining my vacation. Thank you to whoever sponsored this in the church, as well. To the Church: its suppose to be the people's church. Once again, you have distorted the teachings. I remember now why I and a lot of people have never liked you.

This is in the dalt vila or the old town region of Ibiza. This is a catholic cathedral and is well maintained. Just like any other cathedral of the EU region... Visit if you have time during dalt vila trek or if you want to attend a mass

At the top of the hill looking over the town and harbour is this beautiful Cathedral. It’s quite stunning inside and very well looked after. Outside has stunning views out to sea making it well worth the effort of climbing the hill.

This cathedral is small but beautiful and well worth a visit. You can light a candle of remembrance here for a small fee of 1 euro and explore the beautiful collection of artifacts in the museum. We spent some time here in quiet reflection which was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Dalt Vila. A truly wonderful place.

Nice old cathedral with lots of icons and statues with a real feel of the past. Worth a visit if you can climb the 100 steps to get from the bottom of Dalt Vila to the level with the cathedral at the top of the castle.

Starting from the Old town, and stopping now and again to look at the views, it probably took us about 45 to 50 minutes to reach the Gothic style Elvissa Cathedral but it was worth it.
Situated on the top of Dalt Vila, it provides beautiful views across the town and was built between the 14th and 16th centuries.
The architecture, both inside and out is wonderful and a great credit to the designers. (See photo's)

The Cathedral is situated in Dalt Vita ,the oldest part of the old town.Walking up to the Cathedral is a testing climb but well worth it for the wonderful views in all directions.
This location within the fortifications was a place of worship over the centuries as different conquerors built their temples and churches here.

A difficult steep walk from all lower entrances. We had a car so used a map to go up and round at rear to a small car and coach park, with good and well used toilets.
If you can do it.

The best thing about the cathedral is its location in the middle of the old town. The building itself is nice, but hardly spectacular as cathedrals go. Unless you are of a religious persuasion, ten minutes inside is sufficient to see all there is to see.

This small town looks like a very comfortable place to live post retirement. The cathedral and the castle are amazing and kept very nicely. A must to do as Spain is all about history and monuments. The view is also amazing from up top and many places to take some amazing pics... 🙂
