We were staying in Skala so this was our local beach. It was end of season so lovely & quiet. We didn’t use the sun beds or the bar service so can’t comment on those aspects. The beach is a mixture of small pebbles, shingle...More
long, a lot of space so not crowded, you can have sunbeds, drinks and other facilities, the water is crystal-clear, the beach does not have real soft sand but a more like small stones but it's fun anyway. recommended.

We visited Skala beach 5 years ago from our stay in Lassi. The beach was awful, pebbly, rough and you were up to your neck in water within 3 feet of going in. Absolutely no good for small kids. Hated it, Lassi beach far superior with golden flat sand, and beautiful crystal clear shallow sea. No comparison to Skala beach. Although we may have just ended up on the 'bad bit'., not sure.
