Long shingle and sandy beach, plenty of room.

We came onto the beach during our day trip to Skala, and found there to be lots of room to sit on the sand close to the sea, you could hire sun loungers if you wanted too, with a... read more

Beach was uncrowded and allowed for a relaxing couple of days. If you wanted to be active there are were a number of things to do, but I just wanted to chill.

Skala beach Kefalonia is ln our opinion probably one of the best in Kefalonia. it consists of good sand and small pebbles .Skala beach because of its size never gets overcrowded even in high season .It also has some nice beach Tavernas especially the Green paradise plus others .Also the sea is beautifully clean .All in all I should say... We came onto the beach during our day trip to Skala, and found there to be lots of room to sit on the sand close to the sea, you could hire sun loungers if you wanted too, with a beach Taverna serving drinks and snacks. the access to the sea was easy, with gently sloping shingle, and the water was clean and... You need to pick your spot for young children as you will need to find some sand away from the shingle and sharp grit, slopes away so you really have to watch youngsters as well. There are plenty of amenities near by with bars and places to eat handily placed. There are better beaches around.

We stayed in Lassi for two weeks in September and because of the amazing reviews of this beach we drove the two hours or so to go and have a look. Firstly, the beach was not sand but small and large pebbles/boulders and there were no sunbeds or sunshades. Our impression of this beach was that it was for the... More

Didn't stay in Scala this year but wanted to come back and see if it changed from a few years ago, the beach is exactly the same, long, areas of sand, areas of pebble and just a lovely place. Not over commercialised, can rent canoes and go on a jet ski but that's about it in October. The beach to... More

The early morning sea breeze is breathtaking just by walking the precious Skala Beach by the Pines, where everyone is welcome and who deserves a special spot with a chair and umbrella to absorb the gorgeous scenery!! You are always welcome to visit Makis Grill, located on the upper part of town, for the feast of your life. Baked or... More
