Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sara, our guide, led us into the history of Franciacorta with kindness and professionalism. The visit to the cellar through the various rooms is very beautiful. Also interesting to know the number of bottles they produce!!
To conclude on a high note, an excellent tasting of the 3 wines!
We recommend it.

A wonderful time at Bellavista today, thanks to our guide, Martina, and the amazing depth of things to see and experience at the winery! We signed up for the Terroir tour and testing and it was excellent. Please go when you’re in Franciacorta!

The property is amazing. It is on the top of a hill with a great view on the Franciacorta. The property itself is beautiful. Despite we arrived really late for our tour, they still allowed us to visit the winery. It is really worth the visit

Fantastic guided tour by Roberto - with passion, history as well as chemicals and technical knowledge and great English. Roberto lade this tour so different for us and in addition to the crescendo tasting, the authenticity of this gentlemen was key to the visit and our love for Bellavista.
LVMH-fans.

My husband, 22 year old son and I were in the Milan area in early March 2019, when our Airbnb host suggested a visit to this winery and the Franciacorta wine growing region. What a pleasant surprise this visit was. We did call ahead and were able to secure a tour for the next morning. Upon finding the winery, you need to go to the gate as it is privately owned. Give your name and the gate keeper and he let us enter. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, mountains, Lake Iseo and above it all sits Bellavista Winery. Our tour guide was Francesca who had been with the company for 18 years and her knowledge and passion for the wine, the winery and the vinyards was palpable. She spent time explaining the owners passion, philosophies for growing and harvesting, and the slow, deliberate process of developing and coaxing out the "personality" of the wine. I have been to other wineries and have not had such an explanation. After a tour of the cellars, our tasting was fabulous! We had the Saten and the Scala Brut. Both were delicious but we loved the Saten and bought a bottle to enjoy in Venice our next stop on our tour of northern Italy. Francesca felt like a new friend by the end of the tour and we hope to meet her again someday. After our tour, she suggested lunch down by Lake Iseo which was beautiful. All in all one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you again Francesca and Bellavista.

Very interesting information of the production of method classic sparkling vine. Were lucky to be invited to the classic music concert at the same day, conducted in the vinery premisses.

We visited the winery after staying in the hotel. To be honest. We love our wine and visiting vineyards but never been round a sparkling wine vineyard. Excellent experience but won't give too much away. A must visit. Even if you are juts passing.

My wife and I booked a tour of the Bellavista winery while staying on Lake Garda. It's not far and proved to be a fun afternoon.
We have been on many winery tours including some in the Champagne region of France.
What makes the wines in the Franciacorta region of Italy different from Prosecco is that they make their wine using the Methode du Champenoise, the same way they do in France. These people produce some of the best sparkling wines in the world.
We had a young but extremely knowledgeable tour guide named Claudia who showed us the winery and the process it takes to make their liquid gold. Italy has some harsh restrictions in maintaining the standard for the wines and the wine's region and it was really interesting how Claudia explained these standards and how Bellavista handles them.
After the tour we had a chance to taste a few of the wines that we were both familiar with and some that we were not.
There are many wineries in this area but I would recommend this as one of the best.

Plan your trip and make wine tasting appointments in advance. Unlike Napa/Sonoma, they aren't happy about walk-ins. It's worth it! Fabulous wine, beautiful wineries and artwork. Make a day of it.

A wine region that is not well-known in the U.S. This winery visit was well worth the trip. The tour was well presented and the tasting at the end of the tour had us sampling the delicious wine.
