This is a lovely island that is accessed by wading across shallow water to visit. Access is not available to the island itself due to archialogical work but it is still fun to wade across

They say the story of this island was very old Roman village but earthquake destroy it and went to under the sea , you can walk through the water to the Island but you can not walk on it as the government closed it for...More

Fantastic views and lovely to visit, we went via a Boat Trip and went swimming in the sea was amazing.

Gumusluk is very nice to have a day out, visit one of the restaurants along the seashore, although I find a bit overpriced

This is areal local sea port and the quality of the fish reflects this .it appeared everyone in the restaurant was eating fish or the like, our meal was as good as any fish I have had anywhere and that includes my home town

We made the trip through the water and that itself was pleasant. But unfortunately we never so a single rabbit, cause the island was closed! And we still dont know why...

I have been here before, in 2004 and at that time there were Rabbits on the island !!! . .. but a few years ago, they decided to "dig" on the Island, so the Rabbits has to be taken off. There is no longer any...More

Today this island is closed to the public, to protect some recent architectural finds, however you can still walk the causeway. King of Halicarnassus Mousolos build a causeway in the 4th century BC, so that they could go and feed the rabbits on the island...More
