We recently got married at this stunning venue on a sunny September's day. The courtyard, open gallery and garden were simply beautiful settings for our romantic wedding ceremony and meal. Meanwhile, the views from the top of the tower overlooking the commune of Castelfiorentino are...More

This castle was visited by three popes and was the US headquarters for General Clark during World War II. It is beautiful setting with a fantastic cooking class. We enjoyed our morning and afternoon cooking and eating the rewards of our class with the Castle’s...More

On a hillside on the outskirts of the old Tuscan town of Certaldo sits this ancient castle, surrounded by vineyards below and trees above shielding it from view. Inside its walled garden hides a cobbled courtyard with medieval balcony, stone features and entrance to the...More

Went there on advice from TripAdvisor and the time schedule on the website. Unfortunately, the tour of 16.30 was Italian speaking only, so a tour in English was promised to start at 17.00. At 17.00 the wine tasting of the Italian group started, which we...More

If you only have a chance to stop at one winery, consider this one. It is a 15th century manor castle that is now a winery. Lots of couples get married here. The landscape view of this slice of Tuscan countryside is grand. The castle...More

The road to the castle is a gravel narrow road that is a little scary. The food tasted good. The property was beautiful. Loved hearing about the history of the castle. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
