This bridge survived the 2016 series of earthquakes that destroyed half of Bahia, plus it's quite beautiful from below.

This bridge is very help for busnesses, txis, buses, bike rider and walkers. People use the bridge to exercise. The miracle is that the bridge survived the earthquake of 7.8 this April and aftershocks of 7.2 and 6.8 this week in May.

You can hire bicycles to ride over but it was just too hot when I was there. Very busy and not very attractive. But good as a reference point.

You can walk or bike the bridge to get some great views. The nights light up at night which sets the scene for some unique photos.
