Yes this is one of our locals it has good food in nice surroundings pleasant staff, and there is usually a band or group on which are always good, the pub also has a nice outside area and heaters at the tables.

May I suggest you call the plough I am sure they will make something special for your wife as everything is cooked to order and they are very accommodating.
