About
This remote beach and shallow bay on the southeastern coast of Mallorca is a popular spot for swimming and snorkeling. The white sandy shore is quite small and unusually shaped so come early to secure a spot, especially during the peak summer season. There are a couple of sun loungers by the beach bar that you can rent and space for you to spread out your beach towel. The cove is surrounded by steep cliff walls covered in foliage, and you'll find loads of travelers jumping off into the clear waters from some of the lower ledges. You can explore Cala Llombards along with other coves in the area on a boat tour. – Tripadvisor

- Vic VSan Diego, California19 contributionsWater lover’s Paradise 🌴☀️⛱️This beach is everything that is advertised! It was as breathtakingly beautiful as the pictures show. Clear waters with great opportunities to snorkel, cliff dive or just enjoy a leisurely swim. There was a Chiringuito (beach bar with food) that had a small seafood assortment, chicken tenders, burgers and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The only downside was the amount of people on the beach. Get there early to get a spot especially if you want a beach with an umbrella. That will run you about €15 for two chairs and I highly recommend it. This is a must see when you visit the island.Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 28 May 2024
- Steve MKathmandu Valley, Nepal6 contributionsShort Trip to Mallorca in JuneMy wife and I stayed at Cala Santanyi on Mallorca for a week in June 2024. We hired a car and rented an airbnb apartment just a short walk from the beach. In June the water was about 20 degrees and on our first 2 days it was absolutely crystal clear. The beautiful aqua-blue was absolutely stunning. But as the week progressed a green algae appeared and it didn't go away, so we chose to swim at Cala Llombards - only 10 mins away. Having a car was the best choice we made. We were able to drive to Cala Llombards and this became our beach of choice for the holiday. There are very few early risers in Mallorca and we would arrive at the beach by 8.30am to an empty car park and the beach to ourselves. This beach is absolutely stunning, with its crystal-clear water and an abundance of fish to see if you have goggles. Over the course of the week, we explored many beaches, but Llomards was definitely our pick due to the clear water and the short drive from our apartment. One day we drove to Palma de Mallorca and caught the Historic Train to Soller, and the tram to Port de Soller. While the train ride was quite scenic, the sheer volume of tourists made this day quite struggle. The huge crowds in Soller just made me feel sorry for the local residents, as their beautiful town was overrun. Santanyi Markets are a sight to see. The stalls go for blocks and the abundance of fruit and veggies, arts, clothes, food, etc, is amazing.. There are also plenty of places to have a coffee and eat some great local food. In one week, we only scratched the surface of the things to do in Mallorca. We were after a relatively quiet week of swimming and exploring and we really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend both Cala Santanyi and Llombards as beaches you should visit. Also, I believe you need a car to be able to find the out of the way places that make Mallorca so special.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 26 June 2024
- ena76bgBelgrade, Serbia1,388 contributionsNice beachEven it was middle of June all sunbeds were occupied when we arrived around 11 am. But we found a place to park our car very easy. This beach is popular among residents. Cristal clear, shallow water without waves, not too cold nor too warm, was just perfect. My kid really love it. There is a beach bar, where you can buy drinks and ice cream.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 14 July 2024

Crowded for sure especially in the sand - but it’s also at the cliffs comfy and crazy view 🥲 water clear and blue, sun is holding on for so long in October. So you can stay there until evening :) also there are a lot of parking lots BUT somebody got in our car during our stay at stole just our cash. Did it happened to someone? Very pretty beach with nice clear water and some good waves. It gets quite busy but when the capacity gets reached they also close the beach off for new visitors because of Covid. There is one stand that does food and drinks, however in the afternoon they only serve the few tables they have food so make sure you bring some with you.

Nefarious service!!! Think about bringing your sandwiches from home or Mercadona because here, in addition to being expensive, is the worst of the worst.
Bad organization, they move on from customers. They only think about charging a totally undeserved service

The bay is only beautiful in the early morning or late afternoon. The portable toilets are an absolute disgrace. We were here three days in a row and the toilets were only cleaned once. The restaurant is very nice but the prices for the food on offer are completely excessive. Here too, customers have to go to the toilets described above. Simply an unpleasant affair.

Good beach, surrounded by a forest and stones which makes a perfect Cala. There on the sides of the Cala are stones and cliffs with forest which make a good viewpoint to the sea.
Free parking is almost at the beach.
No showers.
Beach has it own bar but for me it was a little bit expensive (ice cream size same as lollipop cost around 4 euros).
Remote toilets are there but during the day, they became unusable...

This was the Cala I most wanted to visit during our trip. Blinded by the Instagram post of its secluded beauty. Not to be !!! It took us thirty mins to walk down to the cove and when we got there there was not spot to be had, so many people crammed into this tiny cove . We turned around and went to Cala Santanyi, much better. I believe the time to visit Cala Lombards is very early morning before everyone arrive or late in the evening !! Not as idyllic as advertised I’m afraid, real shame !!

It is a beautiful cove with many advantages: crystal clear waters, white sand, spectacular views. We opted for this cove over the neighboring Caló des Moro and S'Almunia because unlike them, this one has a parking lot right next to the beach. When choosing the cove we took this into account because we were in the middle of a heat wave and we did not want to do two or three kilometers in 36-37 degrees. So in this case it seemed super practical to us. It is a free and quite large parking lot that also has a lot of movement (when we arrived it was full, but soon there are free spaces because people go for a while, take photos and go to another one). It also has a beach bar, expensive for what they offer (you pay for the place, obviously), but it gets you out of trouble if you don't bring food and don't want to move, and the food is good. The shame of the cove is that it is overcrowded, but like all the others.

let me tell you about Cala Llombards in Mallorca - it's like the beach heard about the concept of "personal space" and went, "Nah, not for me!" If you're a fan of rubbing elbows (and sunscreen) with strangers, this is your paradise. I mean, who needs personal space when you can make new friends by accidentally kicking sand in their faces?
And don't even get me started on finding parking. You'd have better luck hunting for a mythical sea monster in those waters. I had to park my rental car in the next town and hitchhike back, and I'm pretty sure the driver was also headed to the same beach!

Lovely beach with soft sand and beautiful cobalt water. Suspect parking would be tricky in high season as the car park is quite small with limited spaces. Definately worth a visit though

Small cove with equipped beach and a restaurant kiosk. Nestled between two paths between the rocks (from where you can also dive) a point of blue sea opens up about 30 meters from the shore with a splendid view.
Very crowded in August, it is advisable to arrive early both for parking and to find a place on the shore.
Those who want to eat at the kiosk are invited to book a table, to be sure of being able to sit in the shade.
