Worth traveling on a good day since the views are what make it. Take a good picnic and plenty of water. Make sure you walk the longer routes to get away from the crowds and noise of the cow bells. Also would be such a...More

This is an essential visit for anyone visiting northern Spain. Park in the bus station at Cangas de Onis and take one of the frequent coaches that make the journey to the glacial lakes and the grotto (you can stop at both and it's only...More

The drive up can take a while because it is this tiny road full of curves but IT IS SO WORTH IT!! This is absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful spots in all of Spain.

An easy walk around the top lake and an excellent restaurant which serves a range of different food. Limited parking at the lake but plenty of space in the overflow car park and an interesting walk from there. There is also a mine which could...More

To the reach de actual Picos themselves in the high season one must use the local bus service that has various stops from Cangas de Onis village, Covadonga cathedral and the 4 (now recently 5) parking lots. I recall the fate... More
