This is a really beautiful beach and was quite deserted when we visited in early Sept. on a day when temps reached 38c. It was very clean and seems to be a couple of miles long with a rocky part at one end, which is great for rockpooling and paddling for little ones.

Great beach with soft sand and clean water. It gets busy but the beach is long so you will find a space.

This is a really lovely to beach to walk along. It gets busy in good weather, especially at weekends, but it feels a bit like it is part of a nature reserve as there are very few buildings on the sea front. Good surfing waves. This is not the med!

Galicia is full of wonderful beaches and this is one of the best. Located in an isthmus you will be surprised by its geography. I love it with the low tide and enjoy a fantastic walk in its 2,5 km long white and thin sand. Great for surfing and windsurfing. If you are not a good swimmer, be careful as... More

The beach is big, the water is very clean but there is no shade. It gets very hot if you can't bring an umbrella etc. It can also get very busy but a huge parking lot takes care of that. Just come early if you don't want to walk for a bit!

One of the best beaches in Galicia. If you want to experience holiday a la espanola, well this is the beach to go. And don't forget La Toxa and O Grove or Cambados. Be prepared for rain in August though.

This beach was busy however the crowds were not unmanageable. There was sufficient parking, although the road leaving the car park was a tight squeeze. This beach has a range of amenities, toilets, snacks and ice creams, there are also lifeguards and a surf school. However the real benefit of the beach is the large expanse of sand and the sandy... Everywhere along the path which runs through the dunes paralleling the beach was clean and well preserved. Bathrooms, bars, restaurants and loads of access points to the beach made it even more enjoyable! Take time to walk the whole length.
