Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Current deplorable state, more in the O Grove area, dirty uncleaned beach, no aid station or signs of any kind about the bathroom. Deteriorated toilets without adequate maintenance. I suppose the blue flag will be a laugh. In another year they end up like this with La Lanzada

Great place to see, hear, feel, and smell the sea. Lots of guys surfing, and a few people on the beach in Late September. Great place to visit. Nice long walk if you choose.

This is a really beautiful beach and was quite deserted when we visited in early Sept. on a day when temps reached 38c. It was very clean and seems to be a couple of miles long with a rocky part at one end, which is great for rockpooling and paddling for little ones.

This beach was busy however the crowds were not unmanageable. There was sufficient parking, although the road leaving the car park was a tight squeeze. This beach has a range of amenities, toilets, snacks and ice creams, there are also lifeguards and a surf school. However the real benefit of the beach is the large expanse of sand and the sandy bottom in the beach, unlike other local beaches there are not many areas with rocks. There is also a nice broad walk behind the dunes.

Hello Travellers, this is a nice Beach near Grove, you can go with children, familiy, friends, couple etc. its a nice sandy beach a little windy but good for sunbathing too, in the summer it can be a problem to park the car th parking lot is huge but still is difficult and you can only arranje park too far, so you have to walk it .So my advice go early enjoy it.

We took a walk through Playa Lanzada when staying at a nearby hotel. It's a popular sandy beach with small dunes and stoney surroundings. Whole Lanzada area is quite windy so also lot of wind surfers can be spotted there. Good for sunbathing and seaside strolls.

The beach was clean and the sea calm, an ideal beach for children to swim as there are almost no waves.
The water is cold, which is quite normal on this coast line! it was very clear and clean making it easier to see the schools of fish swimming by you in the water, awesome!
I totally recommend this beach for families with children small or big, they will defintely enjoy themselves in the calm waters of Playa Lanzada.

Beach and water is super clean. The local surfers are nice and helpful. The local surf shop in O Grove is well stocked and helped us with all our surfing needs. Will definitely return here!!

Great beach, not overcrowded.
Visit the beach side restaurants for a lovely lunch, and stay at Hotel Atlantico - it's nicer out of town,

Can anyone advise me the best transport options from Vigo Airport to accommodations around playa a lanzada? I recently visited Vigo ... loved it and I would love to explore more of the Galician beaches/ coastal area but I do not want to rent a car 😊
