Excellent pastry; cozy location on charming backstreets of Old Town Mykonos
My husband and I stopped by this bakery because it was recommended by our Rick Steves tour book on Greece. Rick Steves provided a walking tour map of how to find the bakery on the back streets of touristy Old Town Mykonos. What a fun walk and delightful find! The interior of the bakery cafe looked charming. However, we had already eaten lunch and had to get back to our cruise ship so we simply bought several pastries to go. We ate the pastries for breakfast over the next few days. They were delicious. The pastries had enough moisture that they never got stale. We probably ordered some baklava (which has honey) but actually I cannot recall what we bought. Everything we bought was wonderful.

    Incredible!
If you didn’t know, this was here you would walk right past it. Our tour guide showed us this when I asked for koulourakia. This is the oldest bakery in Mykonos. It’s absolutely adorable inside. The Greek woman working the counter was so sweet. I wanted to buy 100 things from her. The cookie I tried was delicious. I loved it here.

One word to describe it: YUM
From the tiny entrance to the cozy interior, everything about this place screams authentic. As for the several sweet options on display, the only troubling thing is going to be choosing which ones to have. The Baklava is delicious and everything else is begging to be eaten.

Lovely fresh food, old heritage building, amazing ambience
We had breakfast on 2 days and loved the freshly baked spinach pie, chicken pie and mini sausage roll. We also liked the small samosa type spinach as well cheese pies and packed a few for our return flight. We tried few sweets and loved the round baklava. Would recommend you visit whilst in old town.

Worst food and service ever. We choose this location based on recommendations, initially to have a local experience/breakfast. The cafe is filthy (sticky tables and chairs) and reeks of gasoline and sewer smell. The food that was served to us was disgusting (undrinkable coffee, burned industrial bread) and nothing local (industrial honey and butter). My friend and I forced ourselves to eat some of the bread and the coffee to avoid insulting the "poor owner" (and were intending to tip the guy because we thought he is struggling to keep the place open). To top it all, the greedy owner charged us 18 euros for 2 cups of coffee (paper cups) and 2 burned toasts. I do not recommend this place for all the reasons listed above.

What a fabulous little place. Such history and tradition within this beautiful little cafe. I strongly recommend anyone to go here, but more importantly there are so many GLUTEN FREE options 😍 Everything I tried was beautiful. My partner who isn’t GF had the baklava and many other yummy treats that he said were divine. This cafe is definitely worth a visit, if not only for the treats but the tradition it clearly holds and the history in the building.

This bakery is a very special place. We were there to pick up some rusks to use for a meal later on but received the added treat of watching some bread being made in their very traditional way with some of the original machinery. It's a family owned and run bakery dating back hundreds of years and still maintains its authentic charm. Everyone was so friendly and while we were only there for the one item, in the end we couldn't resist trying their spinach and feta pies. They were crispy and oh so delicious. This is a lovely gem and we highly recommend a visit.

Exceptional family run business. Perfectly situated, delicious goodies, lovely family who were happy to chat. This is a must. Wasn’t expecting to find such a gem in Mykonos. Wish I could have tried everything. Don’t miss it!

This is the oldest bakery in Mykonos, founded in the 15th century and still thriving today. The atmosphere is super welcoming with cosy nooks and the loveliest people behind the counter. Their spinach and feta pie is the perfect breakfast item as are their endless number of sweet items, including some lovely almond biscuits.

WOW! This is an amazing slightly dark hole in the ground with steep steps down into it. I LOVE this bakery so much so that I spent over an hour searching for it the next day. If only I had taken a picture of the sign.
I had cookies that looked and tasted like they had a pomegranate flavored center that was thick and soft and luscious. It made it necessary to hunt the place down for a lot more of the same. YUM!!

Cozy and quiet. Lots of choice between sweet and savory. The staff is friendly and they also speak Italian. You choose at the counter, pay at the cash register and then they bring your order to your table. With the order they also bring us a bottle of water (free).
Breakfast for two people including an Americano, a cappuccino, a classic baklava (large), a pistachio baklava (small), two cookies and a coconut biscuit. Total: €22
