We went to the Windmills for sunset. As you can imagine, the hoards of people can be a bit distracting and difficult to maneuver when visiting this site.

So beautiful to see. Right in the centre of Mykonos Town (Chora). Quite windy. Cute evil eye store before the Mills :)

The iconic windmills are defintely worth a visit. Can be busy but there are loads of cocktail bars near by to view them.

These are just 4-5 old defunct windmills next to the port area. Yes its looks pretty and yes there is a sunset view from around this area, but making this is a Wow place is clearly a well executed marketing gimmick

Great for some scenic photography at night. Find your way through a carpark :( Nice view on the town.

Not much more to it than a lovely walk and nice view. And that's enough of a reason to come A few minutes walk from little Venice and shops.

These windmills are restored and make quite a dramatic feature at the back of the town - we would have missed them but our guide was very thorough - great for photographs

I mean, by the way they sell it you'd believe you could sit and stare at these for hours. Don't get me wrong, you'll see these when you come as it's on the way to little Venice and in the town so you can't miss...More

With the present push for renewable energy,it's good to remember that windmills have been around for centuries. Kato Milli are much better visually than any recent versions I've seen.

We also arrive via cruise ship. I don't know which cruise port are you docking as there are the old port and the new port. If you are docked on the new port - usually the cruise ship will provide free transportation to the... More
