Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In shallow water dangerous sharp-edged stones which cut your feet. Not recommended for swimming especially not for children. Bathing shoes are necessary.

If you are only laying on this beach, it might be ok. The views are pretty and the hotel at the one of the beach is cool. But, the beach itself is pretty dirty. Clearly, no one really cleans it up.

By far, the biggest problem is the sharp rocks once you get about waist high in the water. Both my husband and daughter cut their feet, but my daughter's was pretty deep and nicked a blood vessel. Since it kept spurting blood, we had to go to the cruise ship medical office to get 4 stitches at a cost of $600. Do NOT go into the water past your knees, even if you have water shoes.

The beach is near town. Looks sandy but made up of small stones. It is unorganised except near the "cool place" on the other side of the beach. The sea is a little rough and the sea floor is uneven. You would like to wear swimming shoes.
Niko's is shut down 😥 so if you have to go to the toilet you have to go to the new place (Mykonos bay hotel I think it is called, not my kind of hotel)

Water looked very clear although it was too cold to go in. Other reviews have mentioned getting cut by rocks in the water which I could see but didn’t test. Overall the strip of sand is bigger than other beaches in Mykonos such as ornos.

it's ok for sunning and you won't get ripped off for loungers and umbrella. It's best feature is it's proximity to Joanna's Nikos Place.

This is THE WORST BEACH YOU COULD EVER GO TO!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT go here!!!! We went thinking it would be a nice beach day close to Mykonos town but the entire beach is covered in sharp sharp coral 6 of my family members (my whole group) got terrible cuts all over our bodies with some requiring stitches. Please save yourself and your body from harm! Do not come here !

Beautiful beach. Large sand so the water is clear. Beautiful view. Close to town. You can rent loungers and umbrella from the beach front hotel. I live this beach. So quiet and calm and relaxed.

Within walking distance of Mykonos town the beach is quiet and peaceful.
You can easily walk and paddle and swim.
There is a hotel on the far side which has a restaurant and bar facilities as well as a pool.
Nice place to relax and chill out. 😊

After sitting in the sand we started to collect the plastic around us.

On a square 2x2m we filled our cup with micro plastic, cigarette filters, popsicle, plastic ropes plus fund a hugh part of caulk mass.

We all should start cleaning.

Walked here from the windmills to enjoy a quiet morning. It was a beautiful morning, just slightly breezy. We brought our towel and just sat on the sand.
