Booked a spa day for 2 on last minute.com £25 each for use of spa 9-5 with Strawberries and cream package 3 weeks before On booking the times of treatment the packaged was changed to chocolate and cookies due to seasonality. The package for £25 each was very reasonable , you could use the pool, sauna , relaxation room and... More

A front desk receptionist who was chewing gum in her mouth, unfriendly, hardly smiled not welcoming. We had a lovely 1 hour treatment which was lovely and relaxing. We were in our dressing gown, feeling half asleep and half awake. We had to carry our belongings from the treatment room to sit and wait at the front desk, which was... More

I was given a spa day as a Christmas Present off my daughter. We booked and visited yesterday. Since booking our treatments my daughter found out she was pregnant and unable to have the treatments she had booked. The ladies on reception (apologies for not making a note of their names) and indeed who carried out our treatments were very... More

Really enjoyed spa day treat day with afternoon tea. Wowcher deal so very good value for money. Well worth the 1.5 hour journey to get there. Lovely location, treatment room and relaxation lounge ticked all the boxes. Delicious afternoon tea. Therapist who gave a great back and leg massage followed by elemis facial was professional and all you could wish... More

We went to Hill Valley for my friends birthday. The staff are friendly and the spa is clean. We booked the rasul treatment which was £35 with spa access and cream tea. We upgraded to afternoon tea for an extra £10 pp. The rasul treatment was nice, the mud treatment smelt like flowers and left our skin nice and smooth... More

If this is number 2 of 12 things to do locally i am under the impression that there is no life here! We had the overnight stay with a massage the room was fairly good, wifi was very poor, hot drinks in the room were scarce! Chairs were at best uncomfy. Evening meal was nice but the service was poor,... More

My daughter had treated me to a Spa day with afternoon tea at the Macdonald Hill Valley Spa - we both had a wonderful day and the facilities, treatment and tea were all first class. The hotel is set in the grounds of a golf course with lovely views. The pool is a good size for swimming, the gym was... More

The staff were lovely, the treatment wasn't 30 mins mine was 25, I was the first to go in out of our group and the last to come out so they got even less time. We all loved the relaxation room, the pool was large the sauna small and I did miss a jacuzzi, All the beds had been taken... More

We booked a spa day through spa break.co.uk and had previously done a spa day which we had enjoyed at Alveston manor so we thought we'd stick with the macdonald chain. Found the hotel after a long journey it is in the middle of nowhere and upon arriving at the hotel it is difficult to find the spa due to... More
