We visited this place with a student group and had a great time learning about the history of Indian Railways, watching those artifacts and old train model and finally the toy train ride.

Good place for kids. Maintenance is quite good. The only drawback was they didn't run the toy train for us despite we being there for an hour. They were apparently waiting for more people. We even asked to charge more but the staff was adamant. Timings mentioned here are wrong. It's open all day.

We had a nice family picnic there - interesting stuff to see and well maintained lawns. They have a joy ride train also for young children. Spent about an hour or two. It is in the open and given Nagpur's hot climate suitable only for winters.

I loved the ticket-counter-in-a-coach and fountain, right at the entrance - Both extend a very nice welcome to the visitors and immediately arouse interest in kids and elders alike. Toy train was great, the way it passes through the little... More
