Lovely out of the way Park, well looked after, well laid out Park, great walks, great cafes, good small garden center with restaurant, cracking cycle hire and restaurants in the square, good customer service/info.

There is no public transport service to the park. The nearest public transport route would take you past the Glengoyne Distillery. Forget the park and do the whisky tour !

Yes, there's at least one loch - just downhill from Garden Centre - walk round the tearoom and you'll see it. Just check there aren't any algal blooms on the loch. It was fine in spring for my dog but she just paddles. If... More
