Great work being done. Lovely walks. Lots of different birds. Such a great place to walk your dog and to have refreshments in the great cafe afterwards

This is a lovely nature reserve, with circular walks, and plenty of opportunities to let your dog off its lead without disturbing the wildlife. Plenty of signs as well telling you when your dog has to be put back on its lead. Quite a lot...More

This is my favourite place to visit with my family and/or dogs for walk. Also for a coffee wirh a friend. The walk is safe, clean and beautiful. Worth the visit on its own, but a stop is definitely worth it.

Wonderful place for a walk The food in the cafe is lovely, but the service is excruciatingly slow. We waited nearly 25 minutes. Pe4haps a bigger coffee machine might be a goo investment?

We have visited with local friends several times, the last occasion being in December 2017. Great walks of different distances, well maintained paths, ideal for wheelchairs, very few spots you can't get to on four wheels, flat too so easy going for helpers. The restaurant/cafe...More

Just a short drive out of town to find this nature reserve with wonderful views of the lake and birds. Good for coffee and light snack whilst enjoying the wildlife. If you have a bit more time great for a walk too.

There are many paths that you follow that follow the fields and the river Idle where dogs can be off lead also. We do a 7 mile walk following the arrows and nearly all is off lead.
