A place of beautiful serenity with a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. God's glory revealed in the natural flora and inspiring bird song. Ideal place to just amble at your ease or sit and drink in the placid atmosphere.

Parking is free but you may if you wish leave a donation. Walk is brisk and on a well defined track which takes in parts of the lake. Recommended for a quiet evenings potter around.

Today myself & my young family aged 5&8 enjoyed a great bike ride at idle valley . There is so much to see & do we enjoyed looking at the varied wildlife , well worth a visit .

We take our grandchildren for walks here but we also go just for walks ourselves very peaceful lots of different wildlife to be seen nice places to stop and have a picnic. The coffee shop is very nice too which looks out over the lake...More

Dogs are allowed, however they must be well controlled and cleaned up after. The southern end of the site is used mainly by families with small children who find some dogs intimidating. Also please dispose of your dogs mess... More
