This mostly pedestrianized street is a favorite strolling venue--a pleasant cobbled strip lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. At the northern end one finds the city's main department store. The southern end leads into the wide and hectic Sovetskaya Square. It is no better, nor...More

My first trip into Belarus, I liked Grodno. I got off a trolley bus near Lenin Square and walked. The market stalls were unexpected. When I got to the end of the pedestrian part, I turned round and went back, stopping at the shopping centre...More

This street is the heart of Grodno. All the best coffee places, interesting restaraunts, bards and souvenir shops are there. Street artists and craftsmen are situated there. At night it offers a taste of the Belarusian culture and night life

I liked this street. It is so small and cosy. Houses are enough old and a bit similar with Warsaw or Prague. So cosy cafes. Small shops with souvenirs. It's a good place for just walking. I will definitely come back once again.

Sovietskaya street is almost a "visiting card" of Hrodna. Walk there with a cup of coffee "to go". It's like a miseum without a roof. I like it
