Monck is a beautiful PP nestled on Nickohla Lake just outside of Merritt. This park has many large useable campsites on and off the lake. Fresh water bathrooms and showers. Ice and icecream bars at the office. There is plenty of parking at the sandy...More
My husband and I took a drive through Monck Provincial Park, we are new to the area and were just exploring. What a nice spot, on the water with lots of sites being right on the water and others in wooded areas. It appears to...More
We were staying in Merritt and took the ride out to Monk provincial park to get away from the excessive heat. It was hot there too but got relief in the clean, cool water. Sand is pretty nice and there’s lots of shade with grass...More
Wonderful Provincial Park, very family oriented. Very clean water in the Nicola Lake. Clean Park with a nice little store. The Manager couple is probably the most friendliest one. We can hardly wait to come again.

I reserved 3 nights at this park. The first one was OK, the wind wasn't as bad as the next day. The second day was hurricane force winds... at least it felt like it. My tents were both flattened to the ground. I tried to...More
